Following the success of the 1st edition of Aseptic Surgery Forum (Paris, 26th & 27th March 2010) that gathered over 1.100 participants from twenty countries, the second edition will take place on 3rd & 4th April 2012 in Espace Champerret, Paris. Over 1,200 participants from some twenty countries and different specialties, both medical and technological, who daily contribute to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of surgical infections, are expected at this meeting.
By liaising and fostering exchanges between professionals from different fields, this new international multidisciplinary meeting should give a boost to innovation and increase health workers’ involvement, with the goals to:
• Structure and improve the management of infected patients
• Improve professional practices in terms of hygiene

The goal of Competitive Technical Intelligence is to identify, competitive advantages in the fields of marketing, product design and research and development through technological leads.

This continues with technology assessment, which determines the stage of maturity and the potential of new technologies. The cycle ends with the strategic analysis of the effects of new technologies on customers, the business and on competitors.
This workshop is the practical application of these three steps and concludes with the added module Competitive Technical Intelligence process, where the application in the enterprise is discussed. A CI centre is the command centre of a company. Here, enterprise wide information flows in order to make important decisions in real-time.
